What has been checked
The release archive’s byte count, SHA-256, file inventory and ZIP integrity have been checked. The project owner reports opening one 9×12-inch sample fit export. That single report is not a complete browser or print-quality test.
The full preview, export, cancellation, reset and fresh offline-reopening workflow has not been fully verified across browsers. No browser compatibility is claimed. The package’s documentation retains these conservative warnings.
This build is not ready for customer orders or a paid release. Please evaluate only with the supplied original synthetic sample, not private or customer artwork.
READ BEFORE OPENING
A small, sample-only first run
- Download and fully extract the ZIP. Keep index.html, the src folder and the samples folder together.
- Read README.md, BETA_NOTICE.md and FAQ_AND_TROUBLESHOOTING.md. Review LICENSE and samples/SAMPLE_LICENSE.md for the software and sample permissions.
- If you choose to evaluate it, open the extracted index.html in a desktop browser. Do not bypass any browser or operating-system security warning.
- Select only samples/geometry_garden_2400x3600.png. Its dimensions are 2400 × 3600 pixels.
- Follow samples/EXPECTED_RESULTS.md. At 300 DPI, portrait, 9×12-inch 3:4 fit should place the unchanged image on a 2700 × 3600-pixel page with 150-pixel white side borders. Crop should not offer that size.
- If an export completes, inspect the extracted JPEG and its actual dimensions. If anything fails, stop and note the error. The checklist is voluntary; an expected result is not proof that the app produced it.
Keep the limits in view
The documented input limits are one JPG/JPEG or PNG, at most 30,000,000 bytes, 24 megapixels and 10,000 pixels on either side. All three caps apply. Each output JPEG is capped at 16 megapixels; each of up to five ZIPs must stay below 19,000,000 bytes.
Crop is centered. Fit adds white borders. Transparent PNG is intended to flatten onto white. There is no manual crop positioning, batch input or ICC/CMYK workflow. Image processing is designed to stay on your device, but fresh offline reopening remains unverified. Read the print-resolution guide before making print-size claims.
Software and sample rights
The software is distributed under the included MIT License, with its copyright and permission notice requirements. The original synthetic sample has a separate permission notice allowing use, copying, modification, redistribution and printing, with or without attribution, at no charge. Both are provided without warranty.
The request to evaluate using only the sample is a testing precaution; it does not narrow the included licenses. The software gives you no rights to unrelated artwork. No physical prints, support deadline or future paid-version entitlement are included.
